We are trying to move away from the mounds of paper we get every day from the traditional fax machine. In preparation for the transition I purchased paperport 12 (I’ve only recently seen the negative posts about this version). The product seems to be working ok on my windows 7 machines.

My question is about the Stamps. When I use any of the existing or custom stamps and then fax or print the document, the stamp turns into ”DRAFT” on the printed paper. I can’t seem to get it to print or fax out the actual contents of the stamp. It’s probably something simple but I’ve looked through all the preferences and tools along with multiple searches in the help files and user guide.
Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?

Thanks
Greg

Not a fix but a workaround…
The first time I click on the printer icon to either select the fax machine or printer. I noticed a dropdown box which normally gives you the ability to either print just the document or the document with the comments. This dropdown is blank which keeps you from making a selection and if I go ahead and print or fax the document at this point it will send the word “DRAFT” every place I used a stamp or added text. If I close without printing, click the print button again, I now have the option to print the document with comments and everything appears to print/fax correctly from this point forward (or until you close and reopen paperport).
I still have two machines running Vista and it appears to function properly on these devices. I’m only seeing the issue on my windows 7 pro machines.
