Our office continues to find new things every day in AC. David Grauman, my boss, and I thought this find is useful and decided to share with the group. We are using V5.028.
I was reviewing imported labs on a patient with diabetes and chronic renal failure. I really needed to compare to previous labs but wanted to see the results on the same page. I noticed a button at the left top of page which opened a new screen with all previous imported labs that is listed by dates. Still not real useful since I only wanted to see creatatine, H/H, and A1C over time, not listed by when then were drawn.
At the bottom of this page there are two scroll windows. One on left you can scroll down and select specific tests if you don't want the entire list of tests. The scroll window on the right bottom you can choose to sort the imported labs by tests. I was able to choose the tests I wanted and sort the tests to see results over time.
This is very easy way to see a review of labs done over time. There are other ways to get the same info. You could manually enter the tests you want to follow on summary page but this takes more time. The other way, log on to Quest, do a query, and get the comparative history but this would take much longer to get the same info.
Maybe other people have already found out how to do this and I am sorry to bore you.
It is little things like this that aren't clearly apparent but will be helpful for us in patient management with minimal effort. I hope this info is helpful to others.
