The Flagging Patients function is a nice addtition. However, it would be nice for 2 changes to be made.

1) The color of the flag should be something "eye-catching" so that it is hard to overlook. Maybe not red, but how about magenta or outright violet. Its to easy to ignore the grey/black.

2)The flag should show up when you highlight a name on the Calender. Right now, it only shows up if you select the name in the search box. But when you are seeing patients you usually just click on the names on the schedule. We have flagged patients with Balance Due and other issues that we want to be easily seen by the staff.

He is talking about the little checkered flag that you can activate at the top.

I haven't used it yet, but he is absolutely correct. There does need to be some time of "flag" in the schedule to let you know at a glance that the patient has "issues" whether personality or medical.

I absolutely agree that colors in the schedule would be the easiest way to identify this. You could right click the catagory on setting it up to set a color.

I didn't see where it can be searched or that it shows up with a search. then I realized it shows up in the yellow box, but it doesn't specify what issue.

Yeah, its just a little flag. But you can open the chart and look I guess. Maybe if there were different flags or different colors to denote different issues. You could designate them yourself. Green= owes money. Red=diabetic blue=cheap captitated insurance. etc.

Is there a way to search/run a report on patients that have a flag set? Or for a specific flag if you have defined them?
