Did anyone see the Perseids last night? I sat there and wathced from 2AM until 3AM and nothing in Maine. I guess the Swift-Tuttle comet doesn't swing by here.

Of course, it was rather cloudy.

Bert,

It was extremely cloudy in Maryland! They said you should be able to see it tonight as well so hopefully it wont be cloudy!

Well, let me know if you see it, Jeff. I don't want to stay up until 2AM. Some of my staff got up at 4AM. We are all awfully cranky.

LOL.

Oh, and now I will have to move this to the vendor thread, lol. Just kidding.

LOL... I will let you know if I see anything, hopefully it wont be cloudy. They also stated you can start looking as early as 9pm just the best parts would be after midnight!

I saw one "shooting star" this morning as I headed to the office. I did not know there was a meteor shower going on. I just thought it was a lonely falling star so I made a wish and put it in my pocket. I can't divulge my wish or it may not come true but suffice it to say it involves an Anthem rep.

No, this time it was specifically Anthem. They just shot down my request to negotiate my reimbursements to at least that of what Medicare pays (yes, I receive LESS THAN Medicare). Anyone hear anything about a meteor landing on Anthem headquarters in the news this morning?

Thanks Bert.

If you hadn't mentioned it I probably wouldn't have taken the time to go out and watch it. I really enjoyed it. I must have seen 10-15, some big enough to surprise me.

I wish now that I had gone driving to one of those light-less rest-stops along the Texas interstates.

The Swift Tuttle didn't make it's way to my part of Missouri.

Benjamin you should thank Jon for putting it on the login screen. No clouds last night in Maine, but I stared into the sky for about 30 minutes and no Swift Tuttle.
