Amazing
Charts lets you run your office the way it already runs today. It
fits right into your office flow, with scheduling, messaging, reporting,
and documentation of notes, phone calls, addenda, and more. The
patient and practice data you need are always right at your fingertips.
There
are multiple ways you can use the Amazing Charts program. The choice
depends on whether you are using it on one computer by yourself
or if there is a network of computers in your office. The vast majority
of practices use the latter approach, with each staff member having
Amazing Charts running on their own computer and the doctor either
walking around with a wireless laptop, or documenting on computers
located in each exam room.
No
matter how it is setup in the practice, office flow is just as it
would be with a paper chart. Simply pull the chart from the Patient
List and document the note. It's that simple.
For
a network of computers and multiple staff members, the office works
most efficiently when a medical assistant or nurse enters patient
vitals (+/- chief complaint, HPI, etc.) and then forwards the chart
to the doctor. The doctor then pulls the chart from their message
inbox, and documents the remainder of the note. Most beneficial
in this set-up, the front staff person(s) and nursing can send email
messages to your inbox with refill requests, patient messages, etc.
